Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical schematics, defining hardware architectures for new products
- Partner with Mechanical Engineering, Android and embedded software, Product and Supply Chain teams
- Own hardware delivery from prototyping and bring up through validation and mass production readiness
- Explore new design approaches and prototype untested concepts
- Lead technical workstreams and design reviews, mentor colleagues
Requirements
- Significant experience in electrical engineering in consumer electronics or hardware product development
- Strong knowledge across several areas: RF (cellular, NFC, Wi-Fi/BT), power design, digital buses and protocols, battery technology or analogue design
- Track record of bringing multiple hardware products to mass production
- Proficiency in a mainstream CAD system such as Altium or Cadence/Allegro
- Ability to create hardware architectures for modern Android-based products
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's a bonus)
- Basic coding skills for firmware validation, Android device bring up a plus
