Responsibilities

• Define enterprise source control strategy, architecture, governance, and roadmaps
• Lead large-scale Git platform consolidation and repository migrations
• Administer GitHub Enterprise Cloud/Server and GitLab SaaS/self-hosted environments
• Integrate source control with IAM (Okta, Active Directory, SSO, SCIM)
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Develop reusable pipeline templates and shared workflow libraries
• Deploy and operate container registry services (Harbor)
• Maintain S3-compatible object storage (MinIO)
• Own centralized secrets management (HashiCorp Vault)
• Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation; automation with Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Support Docker and Kubernetes build/deployment pipelines
• Implement audit logging, access reviews, compliance reporting with security teams
• Integrate SAST/DAST and dependency scanning into CI/CD
• Monitor platform health, pipeline performance, security events, costs

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance upon hire
• U.S. Person status
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
• ~10–12 years in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or related
• Enterprise-scale GitLab and GitHub administration experience
• Substantial CI/CD pipeline design and operation experience
• Knowledge of Git branching strategies (trunk-based, GitFlow), code review, repository governance
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines; Jenkins beneficial
• Cloud experience with AWS (commercial and GovCloud) and Azure
• IaC and automation with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible; scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Docker containerization and Kubernetes knowledge
• Artifact management experience
