Responsibilities
- Drive overall technical architecture, design, build and launch features/improvements on the platform
- Deliver high-impact complex projects that may span multiple teams
- Drive delivery of business outcomes across multiple teams, including planning and execution
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and UX
- Ensure end-to-end delivery of software, including team ownership of monitoring and production issue remediation
- Coach individuals in professional and technical development
- Hire and mentor Team Leads and Senior Technical Staff members
Requirements
- Fintech products solution design, implementation at launch at scale
- 10+ years mentoring and growing successful teams
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other equivalent quantitative disciplines
- 5+ years of managing, coaching and growing successful teams
- Highly proficient knowledge in a high-level programming language such as Java, Kotlin, Go
- Excellent knowledge in Postgres, JavaScript (React), Flutter
- Experience working in a team with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of and experience in building backend services/APIs
- Strong understanding of software engineering, distributed systems, and Event Platforms
