Humanoid builds commercially-scalable, safe humanoid robots; HMND-01 is deployed in real industrial environments.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of prototype engineers and technicians; set priorities and raise technical standards.
Stay hands-on: drive troubleshooting and resolution of complex electrical issues in prototype humanoid robots.
Own electrical bring-up of new prototype builds: power distribution, motor drive and actuator electronics, sensor integration, communications buses, high-density electromechanical integrations.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software engineers on prototype design, assembly, and design-for-test.
Define, maintain, and enforce test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and repair runbooks.
Design, document, and iterate on cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and test jigs.
Own lab planning: schedules, resource allocation, tooling, equipment, and spares.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and raise first-pass yield and manufacturability.
Requirements
Strong hands-on electrical engineering background in rapid prototyping and debugging custom hardware.
Deep knowledge of low-voltage power and mixed-signal circuits, motor drives, connectors, sensors, and compact electromechanical systems.
Comfortable with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and bench instrumentation.
Experience reading schematics and PCB layouts, board-level rework and repair, designing harnesses and cable assemblies.
Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers or technicians.
Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Mechanical prototyping skills are a plus.
Conditions
Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision), 23 days PTO, sick leave, paid holidays.
401(k) with 4% employer match, competitive equity.
Free daily catered lunch, snacks, and drinks in-office.
