Responsibilities
- Own the vision and roadmap for Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport
- Build the underlying identity platform, creating scalable verification primitives and standards
- Design a seamless, low-friction KYC experience that reduces time-to-first-transaction
- Drive adoption across MetaMask by partnering closely with internal teams
- Balance privacy, trust, and global regulatory requirements
- Lead execution end-to-end, aligning cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Proven experience building or scaling identity verification (IDV), KYC, or onboarding products
- Strong background in fintech, ideally with exposure to Web3
- Hands-on experience with IDV vendors such as Sumsub, Veriff, Onfido, Persona, or Stripe Identity
- Familiarity with compliance workflows, including KYC, KYB, and customer due diligence (CDD)
- Track record of delivering platform products adopted across multiple teams
- Ability to operate across both technical systems and user experience
Conditions
- Remote-first, global team
- US pay range: $130,000 - $187,000 USD (not including bonus, equity or other benefits)
- Compensation for candidates based outside the US will be determined based on location, experience, and skills
- Not considering applications from candidates based in France, Italy, or Germany
