Responsibilities
Define and maintain an automation strategy and roadmap for technology services delivered through self-service portals and request-driven workflows
Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate service provisioning, configuration, validation, remediation, scaling, decommissioning, ongoing service changes
Define and maintain standards for automation testing, version control, release management, observability, failure recovery, maintainability
Monitor automation performance and measure improvements in service fulfillment time, error rates, operational effort, adoption, reliability, customer experience
Continuously identify opportunities to simplify service delivery, reduce manual work, improve scalability and quality
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in technology automation, service orchestration, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or related technical discipline
Strong understanding of XaaS delivery models and automation of self-service or request-based technology services
Experience designing reusable automation workflows, API integrations, orchestration components, end-to-end service delivery processes
Familiarity with ITSM, service catalogs, IAM, monitoring, configuration management, infrastructure inventory, related operational systems
Knowledge of infrastructure as code, event-driven automation, continuous validation, automated compliance practices
Ability to evaluate automation opportunities, prioritize initiatives based on business and operational value, measure outcomes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working independently in a remote environment
