About the company

- HMND-01 Alpha is running in real industrial pilots.
Responsibilities
- Interpret open-ended design requirements into detailed design specifications.
- Collaborate across disciplines to brainstorm, design, and develop prototype robots.
- Design and refine innovative mechanisms, interfaces, and structures.
- Create and manage CAD models, engineering drawings, assembly documentation, and test plans.
- Perform analyses on new designs, validate through bench tests.
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective and preventative measures.
- Collaborate with external vendors for components and assemblies.
Requirements
- BSME with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing high-performance mechanical structures, motion mechanisms, and integrated systems.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, Creo) with FEA and topology optimization.
- Strong understanding of ASME drafting standards, including GD&T (Y14.5-2018).
- Experience transitioning designs from early concepts (NPI, EVT, DVT) to production.
- Familiarity with casting, sheet metal, stamping, hydroforming, composites.
- Experience designing lightweight, high-performance structures and compliant mechanisms.
