Deliveroo is part of DoorDash, building a three-sided marketplace that serves millions of customers, riders and partners. The newly created Regional Marketing team turns Deliveroo's brand and commercial strategy into local reality.
Responsibilities
- Drive hyper-local market growth: Design the strategy, execute, and optimize regional plans across Italy, translating and adapting national marketing frameworks to high-impact local campaigns
- Optimize localized marketing and field execution: Own and deploy the regional budget across different channels
- Lead regional co-marketing initiatives: Partner closely with high-profile local restaurant accounts and commercial stakeholders to co-create high-visibility activation campaigns
- Analyze local performance metrics: Monitor regional KPIs, market trends, and competitive movements, using data to continuously iterate activation tactics and maximize ROI
- Cross-functional alignment: Act as the strategic bridge between the central marketing engine and local field teams
Requirements
- Significant experience in consultancy or trade marketing: Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects with measurable business impact, ideally within fast-paced industries (FMCG, e-commerce, or tech preferred)
- Data-driven and strategic mindset, with business acumen: Strong analytical capabilities to design strategies, evaluate campaign effectiveness and efficiency, optimize regional budgets
- Deep understanding of the Italian consumer landscape: Exceptional knowledge of regional nuances, local media opportunities, and cultural levers across key Italian territories
- Proven ability to manage commercial stakeholders: Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Fluency in both English and Italian: Full professional proficiency in both languages

- Salary range: €66,000 – €83,000 gross per year
- Eligible for equity award grant of restricted stock units
