Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services
- Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions
- Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows to improve developer productivity
- Guide team members and promote engineering best practices focused on usability and maintainability
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for platform delivery
- Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies, processes, and platform functionality
- Create new platform features with meaningful value proposition
- Resolve unclear but urgent tasks
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps
- Proven technical leadership experience
- Expertise in several of: ArgoCD, Grafana, Kubernetes, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, Cloud Cost Optimization
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go
- Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies (GCP preferred; AWS acceptable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Bonus: distributed systems architecture, cloud security and governance, agentic workflows, database expertise, Internal Developer Platforms
