• Partner is looking for a Full Stack Engineer II based in Canada.
• Building a modern workforce management platform for HR, payroll, scheduling, and time tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features across frontend, backend, mobile, and infrastructure.
• Build responsive web interfaces using React.
• Develop mobile applications using React Native or similar frameworks.
• Implement backend services using PHP, Node.js, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Design and improve database schemas, integrations, and queries.
• Contribute to incremental modernization of existing systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across frontend, mobile, and backend.
• Write clean, well-tested code and support CI/CD workflows.
• Apply best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI teams.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed about emerging frameworks and AI-assisted coding tools.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with React and React Native.
• Proficiency in PHP or equivalent backend technology (Laravel, Symfony).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, schema design, and optimization.
• Familiarity with mobile development (app store deployments, push notifications).
• Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an asset.
• Proficiency with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Practical, analytical problem-solving mindset.
• Ownership and adaptability; individual contributor role.

Bonus

• Experience with mobile analytics tools such as Firebase, LogRocket, or Mixpanel.
• Familiarity with workforce management, HR compliance, scheduling, or payroll systems.
