Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud networking infrastructure (AWS preferred) supporting satellite operations and customer delivery
- Contribute hands-on to the networking layer of ICEYE's AWS infrastructure, helping the team build toward formal ownership
- Manage infrastructure through automation, API driven configuration, and version controlled change processes (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD)
- Contribute to the design of hybrid networks connecting cloud and on-premises environments
- Own critical production systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and security against real-world threats
Requirements
Must haves:
- Solid, proven experience operating cloud infrastructure, AWS experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of core networking fundamentals, routing, and how these translate into hybrid and cloud environments
- Understanding of secure network design (VPNs, encrypted communications)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and IaC tooling (Git, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines)
- Ability to design, explain, and defend network architecture decisions (trade-offs, diagrams, review with peers)
- Pragmatic, collaborative mindset with the ability to balance technical quality with business needs
Nice to haves:
- A background that evolved from classic networking into modern cloud environments
- Experience with on-premises networking hardware and physical infrastructure
- Expert-level experience with a major enterprise network operating system or firewall platform
- Experience and willingness for hands-on work with physical infrastructure
Conditions
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
- Base salary range for this position is 6000-8000 EUR per month (gross), depending on experience, and will be negotiated individually.
