Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver backend systems and APIs in Go, emphasizing clarity, maintainability, and backward compatibility
- Build and maintain full-stack product features using React/TypeScript (frontend) and Go (backend)
- Provide technical leadership: define patterns and operational guidelines, plan and deliver complex multi-team projects
- Collaborate within a product triad model alongside design and product partners
- Participate in on-call rotations and own software in production
- Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and delegate to help others grow
Requirements
- Deep experience designing, building, and maintaining backend systems in Go or similar languages
- Frontend proficiency with React and TypeScript
- Experience leading complex technical projects spanning multiple teams or systems
- Ownership and autonomy: proactively identify problems, propose solutions, own projects end-to-end
- Track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical design reviews
- Clear written and verbal communication
