FPGA Digital Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement FPGA-based digital systems per functional, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Translate system-level specifications into digital hardware architectures and efficient FPGA implementations.
• Develop and maintain digital logic designs adhering to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to integrate FPGA designs.
• Support design verification, simulation, testing, and debugging.
• Analyze timing, resource utilization, and design performance to optimize FPGA implementations.
• Troubleshoot hardware and digital logic issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in engineering reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in FPGA development, digital design, or digital hardware engineering.
• Strong understanding of digital logic design, synchronous systems, and hardware implementation methodologies.
• Experience with FPGA design tools and workflows: synthesis, simulation, timing analysis, implementation, debugging.
• Familiarity with VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Understanding of FPGA architecture, timing constraints, clock-domain crossing, and resource utilization.
• Experience with design verification, simulation, and hardware testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
