This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Enterprise Engineer based in United States.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain MCP servers that expose data platform capabilities and enterprise business systems to internal tools and AI-driven workflows in a deterministic and reliable manner.
- Design and develop internal APIs that expand the ecosystem of programmatically accessible enterprise resources.
- Build lightweight web applications and dashboards using Streamlit or comparable frameworks to support internal teams and business processes.
- Develop stateful applications that help ensure standard operating procedures are followed consistently and in compliance with applicable policies.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows and pipelines primarily using Python.
- Establish a software development lifecycle for transforming high-value macros and user-created tools into maintainable standalone services and reusable low-code workflows.
- Define coding standards, engineering practices, and best practices for interacting with AI agents across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, scope projects, prioritize solutions, and deliver reliable outcomes.
- Take ownership of projects throughout their full lifecycle, including architecture, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code while contributing to a strong culture of technical quality and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing software with Python.
- 3+ years of experience designing and building APIs, preferably using FastAPI or Flask.
- 3+ years of experience with full-stack Python development.
- Hands-on experience building or working with MCP servers.
- Experience with deterministic LLM programming and AI orchestration concepts, including technologies or patterns such as LangChain, UserPromptSubmit, and PostToolUse.
- Familiarity with OLTP databases and caching technologies.
- Strong SQL skills and proven experience working with relational databases.
- Strong understanding of software development practices, API architecture, automation, and enterprise systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own complex projects from initial scoping and architecture through deployment and maintenance.
- Experience working in ambiguous environments where initiative, sound judgment, and practical problem-solving are highly valued.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is a plus.
- Familiarity with Streamlit or similar lightweight UI frameworks is advantageous.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Airflow, Prefect, or n8n is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure is beneficial.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or visa transfer.
Conditions
- Base salary range of $175,000–$190,000, with final compensation based on skills, experience, education, training, and other relevant factors.
