Responsibilities

• Contribute to product roadmap using data and exploratory analysis to understand user behavior and trends.
• Design and implement core metrics and evaluate A/B experiments.
• Explore alternative experimentation techniques to help teams evaluate ideas faster.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers.

Requirements

• Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, applied sciences, computer science or related field.
• Ability to manipulate large, high-dimensional data sets; fluency in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches including Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Forecasting, Econometrics.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical partners.
• Strong critical thinking with AI-generated suggestions, validating correctness, performance, security, maintainability.
• Ability to connect data analysis to real business problems.

Conditions

• Hybrid work model with in-person collaboration near a Pinterest office.
• Base salary range $124,950 - $168,000 USD, eligible for equity.
• US based applicants only.
