This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Product Marketing based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall product marketing strategy, operating model, and priorities across a broad portfolio and multiple audience segments.
- Establish clear, differentiated product positioning and messaging frameworks that guide go-to-market execution and strengthen market understanding.
- Translate product strategy, market intelligence, buyer needs, and member behavior into compelling portfolio narratives and value propositions.
- Develop high-impact sales and marketing enablement materials, including pitch decks, sell sheets, and other core assets that support demand generation and customer acquisition.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and business-model changes across both buyer and member journeys.
- Partner with Product teams on roadmap inputs, packaging, pricing considerations, launch tiers, readiness criteria, and prioritization.
- Connect product positioning to member awareness, activation, utilization, and long-term engagement, ensuring communications clearly articulate product value.
- Collaborate with Consumer, Brand, Lifecycle, Clinical, Operations, Sales, Client Management, B2B, B2C Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure coordinated execution.
- Build, lead, and develop the product marketing organization, integrating talent, processes, and scalable ways of working.
- Serve as a senior cross-functional connector and strategic advisor, driving alignment between product, commercial, and marketing priorities.
- Establish measurement frameworks that connect product marketing activities—including positioning, enablement, launches, and adoption—to measurable business outcomes.
- Lead effectively through organizational change and integration while maintaining a balance between strategic direction and hands-on execution.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in marketing, including substantial leadership experience in product marketing across B2B and B2C or D2C environments.
- Strong B2B2C or platform experience, particularly in environments where economic buyers and end users or members represent different audiences.
- Proven track record of developing product marketing strategies, operating models, launch methodologies, and high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmap, packaging, pricing inputs, and prioritization without directly owning product management.
- Strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to connect positioning, storytelling, enablement, launches, and measurement to business results.
- Strong product, commercial, customer, and market orientation, with the ability to translate complex offerings into clear and compelling value propositions.
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, employee benefits, insurance, or another regulated and multi-stakeholder industry is preferred.
- Excellent storytelling and executive communication skills, with the ability to frame complex decisions clearly for senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to influence without relying solely on formal authority.
- Experience building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams through periods of growth, transformation, or organizational integration.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on customer needs, commercial outcomes, and measurable impact.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Conditions
- Base salary: $215,000–$225,000 annually.
- Performance bonus eligibility in addition to base compensation.
