Responsibilities
Own and operate AWS estate end to end: networking, compute, data stores, identity, monitoring, backups and cost across shared and customer-dedicated environments.
Keep every environment healthy, patched, backed up and recoverable across Linux and Windows Server; administer MongoDB for availability and performance.
Build as code with Terraform, treat drift as a defect, move towards hardened, repeatable builds.
Secure the platform: IAM and least privilege, secrets and certificates, encryption, logging and security tooling.
Build monitoring, alerting and dashboards; own infrastructure incident response.
Support compliance: keep ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials evidence, asset registers and diagrams current.
Automate and develop with scripts and serverless automation; contribute to codebase.
Document and coach: own infrastructure documentation set, define standards, help developers.
Work with customers on onboarding and procurement conversations, turn requirements into environment designs.
Requirements
Several years running production Infrastructure in AWS with depth in networking, compute, IAM, storage and monitoring.
Strong Terraform: writing modules, managing state, building environments from code.
Confident administering both Linux and Windows Server.
