Responsibilities:
- Developing backend services for a grocery storefront, including catalog, categories, search, PDP, cart, and checkout.
- Working with large catalogs and assortments that depend on a specific store, warehouse, or user location.
- Handling frequently changing prices, inventory, discounts, and product availability.
- Validating the cart before checkout, including prices, availability, quantity limits, minimum order value, and store restrictions.
- Supporting grocery-specific scenarios such as weighted products, unavailable items, and substitutions.
- Integrating with catalog, pricing, inventory, order, payment, and delivery services.
- Onboarding grocery partners with different APIs and data models.
- Ensuring low latency, high availability, and resilience of customer-facing flows.
