Responsibilities
- Defining and owning the unified positioning framework for the infrastructure platform, connecting technical capabilities with enterprise priorities such as cloud transformation, resilience, security, compliance, and AI-powered operations.
- Developing a clear market narrative that aligns multiple product areas into a cohesive platform story rather than disconnected offerings.
- Leading competitive intelligence initiatives, leveraging AI-powered tools to identify market signals, analyze competitors, and create actionable strategies for differentiation.
- Building and managing analyst relations programs with leading industry research organizations to strengthen market visibility and influence buyer perceptions.
- Establishing a comprehensive win/loss intelligence program to uncover market trends, improve sales effectiveness, inform product decisions, and increase competitive success.
- Driving go-to-market strategies for major product initiatives, including launches, SaaS adoption programs, pricing strategies, and portfolio evolution.
- Creating sales enablement frameworks, including messaging guides, competitive battlecards, discovery tools, ROI assets, and executive-level selling materials.
- Developing customer proof points, outcome-based narratives, and technical validation resources that support enterprise sales cycles.
- Transforming product marketing workflows through responsible AI adoption across research, content development, competitive analysis, and enablement processes.
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing product marketing function while establishing scalable operating models, processes, and strategic priorities.
- Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, and executive teams to ensure consistent execution and business alignment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure software product marketing or a closely related technology marketing discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced technical/business degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience leading and scaling product marketing teams within global, matrixed enterprise organizations.
- Proven success developing go-to-market strategies for complex technical products, platforms, or solutions in competitive markets.
- Experience driving SaaS transitions, platform consolidation initiatives, or large-scale portfolio positioning strategies.
- Strong expertise in competitive positioning, category creation, and narrative development methodologies.
- Demonstrated success managing relationships with industry analysts and influencing market perception.
- Experience using AI tools to improve product marketing workflows, including competitive intelligence, research synthesis, and sales enablement.
- Strong understanding of win/loss analysis, market intelligence, pricing strategy, and revenue-focused marketing operations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and executive leadership teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing environment.
Conditions
- Competitive base salary range of $225,000 - $262,500, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.
