This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Product Management based in India.
Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy and lifecycle management across multiple product lines.
- Manage and develop product teams, including Product Owners, QA, Scrum Masters, architects, designers, and developers.
- Translate business needs into product requirements: themes, epics, features, user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Validate product specifications against stakeholder expectations.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation.
- Improve customer experience and adoption using performance metrics, usability research, customer feedback, and market analysis.
- Support commercial growth by collaborating with sales, operations, customer success, and partners.
- Communicate product capabilities through documentation and feature explanations.
- Lead regional product alignment and represent regional stakeholder needs.
- Contribute to global product strategy with regional insights.
- Promote effective Agile delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field; MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years in product management supporting a product generating >$1M revenue within an organization generating >$5M revenue.
- Minimum 5 years of practical Agile experience, including Agile transformation.
- Strong technical understanding to engage with engineering teams.
- Proven ability to manage product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives.
- Experience gathering and validating business requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Data-driven decision-making using product metrics, customer feedback, usability findings, market research.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and familiarity with Jira, Trello, or equivalent.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
