Full-stack Software Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full-stack Software Developer based in India.

This is an opportunity to build and evolve secure, high-scale software products serving complex digital transaction environments.

You will work across backend services, APIs, databases, and modern web interfaces to deliver reliable end-to-end solutions.

The role combines hands-on development with architectural thinking, technical design, and collaborative problem-solving.

You will contribute to scalable microservices and cloud-native applications while helping maintain strong engineering standards.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will influence product quality from design through delivery.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Build, integrate, and maintain modern web user interfaces that interact seamlessly with backend services.
• Design and develop scalable applications backed by relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data management and performance.
• Design and implement microservices and contribute to cloud-native application architectures.
• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
• Deploy and support applications using Docker and cloud-based technologies, with exposure to Kubernetes and modern cloud environments.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools where appropriate to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and development workflows.

• 7+ years of professional experience in software product development, ideally working on customer-facing systems operating at significant scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, REST APIs, and both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience designing and implementing microservices-based applications.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and the ability to contribute across the full software stack.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud-based application deployments.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and modern software deployment practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding and developer productivity tools.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, scalability, maintainability, and application performance.
• Ability to participate effectively in technical discussions and code reviews, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
