PlataCard is a bank operating in Mexico. We are looking for a Business Analyst to automate processes for Compliance, Legal, and Internal Control teams.
Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements from Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations, and translate them into clear specifications.
- Decompose regulatory and legislative requirements into actionable changes.
- Research and evaluate third-party solutions.
- Map stakeholders and clarify ownership.
- Identify and document dependencies between teams, systems, and processes.
- Produce documentation (BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on scope and timelines.
- Support the development lifecycle: clarifications during implementation, UAT, and releases.
- Participate in discovery, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
- Document as-is and to-be processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in fintech, banking, or another regulated industry.
- Proven ability to gather and document business requirements.
- Solid system analysis basics: reading technical documentation (APIs, integration flows), understanding architecture.
- Experience with process modeling (BPMN, UML, or similar).
- Experience with low-code tools (e.g., n8n), Jira automation, or advanced hands-on use of Claude Code.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or spreadsheets for data validation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- B2 or higher English level.
