Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of mobile features using React Native and TypeScript across iOS and Android platforms.
- Make and maintain architectural decisions related to project structure, state management, data layers, navigation, and testing strategies.
- Investigate and resolve platform-specific challenges involving performance, battery consumption, background execution, offline synchronization, and application stability.
- Write clean, efficient, testable code and promote best practices through code reviews.
- Integrate mobile applications with existing APIs and ecosystem services.
- Build prototypes and implement interfaces with high fidelity to approved designs.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using JavaScript and TypeScript testing frameworks.
- Support mobile build processes, certificates, application deployment, app store publication, and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor applications in production, investigate incidents, and implement durable fixes.
- Guide less experienced developers and facilitate technical discussions.
- Contribute to React web applications and Node.js backend services when required.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience with React and React Native development.
- Strong production experience with TypeScript, including advanced use of React Hooks and functional programming principles.
- Practical experience with React Navigation and state management solutions such as Context API, React Query/TanStack Query, or equivalent.
- Experience developing automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
- Hands-on experience with iOS and Android release processes, including builds, certificates, and publishing to app stores.
- Experience with Styled Components and responsive styling.
- Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Professional experience developing web applications with React, including SPAs, routing, and build tooling.
- Experience with Node.js backend development, including REST API implementation, database integration, and authentication.
- Ability to make and justify technical architecture decisions independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated autonomy, technical leadership, and willingness to mentor developers.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.

- Nice-to-have: Experience integrating native iOS or Android modules using Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java; Familiarity with Expo, including its SDK, EAS Build, and development clients; Experience creating, maintaining, or consuming design systems; Knowledge of production error monitoring tools such as Sentry; Familiarity with internationalization (i18n) libraries such as i18next; Experience applying Test-Driven Development.
