About the company

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Site Development & Facilities, Project Manager based in United States.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for site development across the network, including new site builds, expansions, relocations, and real estate initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end facilities management across the site network, including vendor selection, site standards, preventive maintenance, and equipment and infrastructure lifecycle planning.
  • Develop and maintain site development and facilities standards, project tracking systems, KPIs, and reporting processes to promote consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with real estate, construction, facilities, and other external vendors, ensuring adherence to legal, safety, operational, and contractual requirements.
  • Advise site operations teams on real estate projects and facilities matters affecting day-to-day operations.
  • Evaluate strategic alternatives for site development and facilities initiatives using real estate, construction, facilities, and business expertise.
  • Establish and manage project budgets and forecasts while monitoring vendor spend in partnership with Finance.
  • Conduct post-project and post-service follow-ups to confirm site satisfaction, resolve outstanding issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner proactively with Operations, Finance, IT, Clinical Operations, site leadership, and external vendors to resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Act as the escalation point for site development projects and facilities-related issues throughout the network.
  • Coordinate emergency and business-continuity responses involving HVAC failures, utility outages, safety incidents, and other facilities emergencies.
  • Communicate project and facilities program status, risks, milestones, and issues to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Identify roadblocks and execution risks and coordinate solutions to keep projects and facilities services on track.
  • Promote process improvements and scalable approaches across a national site network.
  • Represent the organization professionally and effectively when working with employees, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in real estate management, site development, facilities management, or related project management across a multi-site network.
  • Healthcare or clinical research industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of site development, facilities management, real estate projects, and multi-site operations.
  • Advanced project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience working across cross-functional and matrixed teams in changing environments.
  • Proven ability to build productive partnerships with site operations, vendors, and multidisciplinary internal teams.
  • Working knowledge of facilities systems such as HVAC, life safety, security, utilities, and general maintenance, with the ability to direct vendors and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation capabilities, including experience monitoring vendor performance and spend.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, risk assessment, problem-solving, and impact analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while managing competing demands across a national network.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and project-tracking and/or facilities-management tools.
  • Self-starter with strong judgment, flexibility, accountability, and a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to travel regularly, potentially up to 50%, to network sites.
  • Valid driver's license and daily access to a vehicle.
  • Comfortable with occasional evening or weekend work, including responding to facilities emergencies outside normal business hours.
  • Ability to perform occasional physical tasks, including lifting approximately 35 pounds or more when required.

  • Competitive salary: $110,000–$125,000 annually.
