About the company
This role is part of HelloFresh's New Ventures Tribe, building and scaling new business models. You'll work on The Pets Table, a fast-growing US-based pet-food brand delivering personalized feeding plans to dog owners, leveraging HelloFresh's global infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize customer-facing applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Participate in frontend architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and platform scalability
- Support improvements in production monitoring, alerting, and observability
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional partners to prototype, iterate, and deliver seamless user experiences
- Utilize modern AI tools and workflows to enhance engineering efficiency, code quality, and standards
- Lead complex projects end-to-end, translating vision into structured implementation plans
Requirements
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript (ideally Next.js) with a track record of production-grade frontend applications, architectural design, and performance optimizations
- Proactive, autonomous mindset with strong communication skills
- Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI tools and workflows (e.g., Claude, Cursor)
- Practical familiarity with monitoring and observability frameworks in production
- Strong product and design judgment with the ability to independently prototype
- Bonus: experience with backend services and APIs (Node.js, GraphQL, REST, or serverless)
- Nice to have: cross-platform mobile apps with React Native
