About the company
Databricks is the data and AI company. More than 10,000 organizations worldwide — including Comcast, Condé Nast, Grammarly, and over 50% of the Fortune 500 — rely on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to unify and democratize data, analytics and AI.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key sounding board and right-hand to senior FP&A leadership to design organizational strategies, optimize corporate ways of working, and align financial planning with company-wide growth goals.
- Lead the charge in changing how FP&A operates by embedding the Databricks platform, AI, and machine learning into core finance workflows—moving the team from descriptive reporting to scalable automation and predictive analytics.
- Design and execute against complex, large-scale initiatives across Finance, IT, Engineering, Product, and Go-to-Market (GTM).
- Own the narrative. Run FP&A leadership forums, orchestrate the OKR and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) processes, and deliver high-impact executive communications to the CFO, Head of Sales, and other top-level leaders.
- Provide a strategic lens on commercialization and scale, ensuring financial processes seamlessly support evolving product strategies, pricing models, and GTM motions.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience, ideally combining elite management consulting with in-house leadership roles within high-growth corporate FP&A or Business Operations functions.
- Deep, foundational knowledge of FP&A architecture, combined with a distinct bias toward strategy and business transformation rather than purely routine operations.
- Proven success leading large-scale corporate transformations, re-architecting legacy workflows, and successfully managing the organizational change that comes with new technologies.
- Experience implementing or managing AI, machine learning, or advanced automation tools within a finance org. Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data analytics platforms is highly desirable; a passion for leveraging the Databricks platform to solve financial complexity is required.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (expert-level Google Slides). Ability to command a room, influence senior executives, and distill complex financial transformations into clear, actionable strategies.
- Experience in the SaaS or high-tech enterprise software landscape. Exposure to corporate commercialization, pricing strategies, or product-led growth metrics is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a highly analytical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
