Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and implementation of advanced test strategies for complex module-level testing.
- Lead a team of test development engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test processes and improve product quality.
- Design and develop sophisticated test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide data-driven insights to improve product performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in test development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test methodologies and tools.
- Represent the test development team in high-level technical discussions and decision-making processes.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for test engineering within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in test development engineering
- Advanced knowledge of test development methodologies and best practices
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java and C++
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in test development
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus
- Data analysis to debug test program and analyze correlation between process weak spot and test results
- Skill to code in either of C / C++ / C# / Java
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and guiding junior engineers
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
