Channel Systems Engineer

• Partner is looking for an Inside Channel Systems Engineer based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical competency and sales readiness of smaller channel partners.
• Provide remote presales technical support: discovery, qualification, architecture, sizing, configuration.
• Review solution architectures, bills of materials, configurations, and technical proposals.
• Teach partners to create their own BOMs, configurations, and reference designs.
• Answer partner questions on SKUs, licensing, and ordering.
• Deliver webinars, demos, workshops, virtual office hours.
• Support customer presentations, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Develop reusable reference architectures and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Partner Account Managers and distribution channels.
• Stay current with networking products, AI-driven operations, network automation, cloud-managed networking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of networking systems engineering experience, ideally in presales or partner-facing role.
• Experience designing, deploying, or supporting enterprise campus, branch, and data center networks.
• Experience with channel partners, resellers, or distributors.
• Understanding of Layer 2/3 switching: VLANs, spanning tree, link aggregation, OSPF, BGP.
• Enterprise wireless design: RF fundamentals, site surveys, roaming, Wi-Fi 6/6E/7.
• Knowledge of routing, SD-WAN, branch connectivity.
• Network security: 802.1X, RADIUS, NAC, segmentation, firewall concepts.
• Familiarity with SASE, zero-trust, cloud-managed networking, AI-driven network operations.
