Responsibilities
- Proactive monitoring of proprietary trading platforms
- Identifying key challenges and gaps and providing solutions
- Registration and resolution of service requests, incidents and problems
- Assistance to DevOps, Developer and QA engineer teams
- Communicating with client and partner company representatives
- Knowledge exchange with fellow colleagues
Requirements
- UNIX/Linux training (Ubuntu, RHEL will be a plus)
- Experience in Unix/Linux command line and Linux systems
- Basic knowledge of shell script languages awk, perl, etc.
- Strong analysis, investigation and troubleshooting skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Nice-to-have: job experience in Linux environment
- Nice-to-have: understanding of ITIL/DevOps processes
- Nice-to-have: experience with SQL-like command language
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of Java programming language
- Nice-to-have: experience with trading/exchange/risk management software
- Nice-to-have: experience in monitoring systems like Elastic Stack, Zabbix
- Nice-to-have: experience with Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence, FishEye)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
