Solutions Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect (Insurance) based in Brazil.

• Engage directly with clients to understand business and technical requirements and recommend appropriate solution architectures.
• Translate client requirements into actionable technical approaches, solution designs, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align solution architecture with customer needs, product capabilities, and broader roadmaps.
• Work closely with Delivery Managers to guide the architectural approach throughout solution implementation and deployment.
• Explore multiple technical possibilities and creative alternatives to identify effective solutions.
• Ensure designed solutions are implemented in line with client expectations, architectural standards, and agreed requirements.
• Assist with identifying, evaluating, specifying, and selecting off-the-shelf technology components.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to clients throughout implementation.
• Develop solution documentation, value propositions, and, when required, business cases.
• Contribute to enterprise and product roadmap discussions.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, cloud capabilities, and industry trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and internal stakeholders.

• 6+ years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery within the insurance industry.
• Strong experience delivering cloud-based technology products and solutions in enterprise environments.
• Understanding of insurance business processes across multiple areas and at least two lines of business.
• Ability to define, communicate, and socialize product or enterprise roadmaps.
• Strong ability to translate complex client requirements into actionable solution architectures.
• Understanding of business architecture models, patterns, and enterprise solution design principles.
• Strong understanding of designing highly available, scalable cloud-based applications.
• Experience designing solutions involving relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with API- and microservices-centric architectures.
• Exposure to authentication and authorization concepts, including SSO, SAML, and identity federation.
• Broad understanding of cloud platforms, with AWS and/or GCP experience strongly relevant.
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies, architectural approaches, and industry practices independently.
• Familiarity with low-code platforms is advantageous.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and database technologies is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent relationship management, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate solution strategies and enterprise roadmaps effectively with stakeholders ranging from project teams to C-level executives.
• Architecture certification such as TOGAF or Zachman is advantageous.
• Cloud certification and broad knowledge of a major cloud platform are advantageous.
• High proficiency in English as a primary working language.
