About the company
Andersen is hiring for a project developing and enhancing a banking loyalty platform with complex business logic and multiple integrations with internal and external systems. The customer is a well-established financial institution providing banking and financial services to individual and corporate clients, including retail and business banking, payments, and lending.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute test cases according to project requirements and tasks.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Verify implemented changes and new functionality.
- Participate in requirements analysis and assess product quality risks.
- Collaborate with the development team, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure release quality.
Requirements
- 2+ years of manual testing experience, primarily in backend, API, and integration testing.
- Experience in banking, fintech, or payment systems, including loyalty programs, bonuses, cashback, and financial transactions.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI), SQL, HTTP, JSON, and client-server architecture.
- Experience testing microservices and event-driven systems, including Kafka topics, producers/consumers, and event processing.
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, and E2E testing, and data reconciliation across multiple systems.
- Ability to analyze business and system requirements, identify missing or contradictory scenarios, and independently plan and organize testing activities.
- Strong log analysis and defect localization skills using Kibana, Grafana, or similar tools.
- Experience preparing test cases, checklists, test data, and reports, and documenting defects clearly and thoroughly.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Colvir or other core banking systems.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD.
- Ability to work independently with many integrations and dependencies and collaborate with Business Analysts, System Analysts, developers, and Product Owners.
- English at Intermediate level or above.
- API test automation skills are desirable.
