MakroPRO is a digital venture by Makro building a technology platform for restaurant owners, hotels, and independent retailers, transforming the B2B marketplace ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Tech Leads and developers to develop automation pipelines and CI/CD
- Develop self-serve tools/artefacts to support the SDLC (containerized dev env, testing env, etc.)
- Configure infrastructure using IaaS/PaaS products and own developed tools
- Deploy application artifacts to target environments
- Participate in planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects
- Perform maintenance tasks such as infrastructure health checks and monitoring
- Identify bottlenecks in development and deployment processes and design automation solutions
- Maintain and grow knowledge of platform configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the rest of DevOps team to deliver consistent solutions
Requirements
- Excellent scripting skills (Python, Bash, Perl)
- Experience building and maintaining large scale, cloud-based container-based platforms (IaaS and PaaS)
- Working knowledge of deployment automation solutions (Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Experience with AWS platform (certification is a plus)
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience with continuous integration and related tools such as GitlabCI, Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar
- Familiar with security automation tools such as static application security testing
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer on a cross-functional agile team preferred
