Responsibilities
- Build and improve high-traffic frontend experiences across Affirm.js, promotional messaging, experimentation, and developer-facing tooling
- Work collaboratively and proactively with your team and stakeholders
- Strike the right balance of speed and quality in your work
- Use browser debugging, monitoring, metrics, and testing tools to maintain reliable cross-browser experiences
- Contribute to a sense of community on your team by engaging in growth and development activities
Requirements
- Previous work or internship experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
- Previous work or internship experience working with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components
- Comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback through code reviews
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Conditions
- Remote Canada (open only to candidates residing in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan)
- CAN base pay range per year: 101,000 - 151,000 CAD
