Responsibilities

Partner with Product Owner (People Tech) and People Operations stakeholders to define and prioritize product vision for HCM functions
Conduct requirements walkthroughs and workshops to clarify needs with development and business teams
Acquire requirements for system improvements within Workday and integrated systems
Build business and technical workflows focusing on employee lifecycle and HR compliance
Analyze People business processes and recommend system enhancements
Facilitate communication across departments to identify potential changes to upstream or downstream processes
Manage requirements (epics and user stories) within the backlog
Perform and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for implementations and Workday upgrades
Prioritize information for Change Control meetings
Leverage datasets to solve complex issues and drive business decisions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to Workday configuration
Collaborate with Product Owners to scope strategic initiatives
Research industry standard best practices for HRIS/HCM processes

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role
Strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes, controls, and compliance
Experience supporting Workday HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting modules
Experience utilizing data management concepts to maintain data integrity
Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred: NetSuite experience or another enterprise ERP platform
Preferred: Workday Pro, Lean Six Sigma or PMP certifications
Preferred: Ashby experience
Preferred: Pigment experience
Preferred: Experience with Agile Methodologies
Preferred: Background in K-12 education industry
