Responsibilities
- Grow and expand existing client accounts by identifying opportunities for additional solutions, consultancy support, new builds, and activation programmes.
- Turn successful initial engagements into larger, multi-market and multi-category programmes with clear opportunities for continued growth.
- Build trusted strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders and position insight capabilities as an integral part of their decision-making and growth strategies.
- Understand client challenges across Brand, Shopper, Innovation, Customer Experience, and Futures and connect them with relevant insight approaches.
- Own commercial proposals and pitches, translating client needs into compelling, commercially robust solutions while addressing potential risks and objections.
- Lead expansion conversations with confidence, creating compelling business cases that demonstrate measurable client value.
- Map decision-making units, monitor client usage and adoption, and track organizational or business triggers to identify opportunities at the right time.
- Develop strong relationships across existing and prospective clients while leveraging a relevant professional network to generate new opportunities.
- Collaborate with insight, consulting, technology, and delivery teams to shape solutions that balance strategic value, creativity, and commercial potential.
- Contribute to the continued development and adoption of AI-driven insight solutions and identify new use cases that can strengthen client outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in consumer insights, market research, consultancy, or a related insight-focused environment, at approximately Associate Director or Director level.
- Proven track record of growing client accounts and generating commercial opportunities within an insight agency, consultancy, or client-side insight function.
- Strong understanding of how leading brands use insight across Brand, Shopper, Innovation, Customer Experience, and Futures.
- Demonstrated commercial judgment, with the ability to balance client priorities, strategic value, and revenue growth.
- Experience framing client opportunities into compelling, commercially sound proposals and leading pitches or expansion discussions.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate complex insight requirements into clear opportunities and practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders.
- Confidence building relationships with senior decision-makers and influencing strategic direction.
- Experience scaling local and/or global programmes across multiple markets, categories, or business areas.
- A strong existing professional network within and/or across relevant sectors.
- Entrepreneurial, curious, resilient, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities and opportunities can evolve quickly.
- Strong interest in AI-driven insight solutions and the ability to understand their potential applications in consumer research and business decision-making.
