Responsibilities

• Own lane analysis and zone skip strategy, including lane-level margin modeling and go/no-go decision frameworks
• Translate operational and network simulations into structured project plans with Product and Engineering
• Build cost models and simulations forecasting financial and service impact of network changes
• Conduct shipment and transportation cost analysis, identifying cost leakage and recovery opportunities
• Support carrier RFP and network strategy through rate card modeling and carrier economics benchmarking
• Conduct supply chain analysis including inbound flow modeling and FC throughput/capacity analysis
• Support network and location analysis for fulfillment and sort center placement
• Build reporting and business intelligence dashboards covering OTD, TNT performance, trailer utilization
• Drive cross-functional transportation initiatives as project lead
• Produce competitive and strategic analysis of Flexport's transportation network
• Act as technical and domain mentor in SQL best practices and data modeling

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in supply chain analytics, transportation strategy, network design, or related
• Strong quantitative skills for financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Proficiency in SQL; experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Advanced data visualization with Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
• Python or R for predictive modeling is a plus
• Experience with transportation or supply chain economics
• Strong project management instincts
