Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to Regional Product teams, Regional Compliance officers and Business Operations, providing data-driven insights into regional risk profiles, investigative performance, and emerging threats
- Lead a multi-layered AML organization of approximately 200 people, with 5 Senior Team Leads (direct reports) and 20 Team Leads
- Proactively identify emerging financial crime trends and implement investigative strategies
- Drive delivery of KPIs aligned with regional business objectives
- Ensure timely, high-quality filing of SARs/STRs
- Foster a high-performing, mission-driven culture of curiosity and integrity
- Mentor Senior Team Leads, investigative leads and specialists
- Partner with Product, Engineering and Global Compliance teams to architect automated investigative solutions
- Align investigative capacity with the regional growth roadmap
- Act as primary regional lead for all internal audits and regulatory exams
- Support the Global Head of AML Operations and Head of AML Investigations Service Delivery
Requirements
- Leadership experience in AML investigations
- Experience managing large multi-layered teams
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and operational efficiency
- Experience with risk tooling and automated investigative solutions
- Stakeholder and product collaboration skills
