Our Trust & Safety, Integrity and Fraud Product team is dedicated to ensuring a safe and trusted experience for all customers across our platform, including Consumers, Merchants, and Couriers. We tackle complex challenges, from preventing fraud, abuse and Account Takeover to ensuring authenticity, to building regulatory compliance capabilities, all while balancing risk mitigation and providing a seamless user experience.
About the role
Trust is foundational to an on-demand marketplace. Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt are converging European capabilities into one platform and one global product capability to prevent fraud and abuse. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager that will lead dedicated cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges that impact Consumers, Couriers and Merchants and touch every corner of our business.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision and long-term product strategy for one of our vertical fraud teams or our horizontal platform fraud team.
- Prevent, detect and mitigate fraud and abuse, building and leveraging AI systems to address risk in real time.
- Build an AI-led fraud operations platform that turns complex marketplace signals into automated decisions, prioritised investigations, and actionable case workflows.
- Develop and execute a customer-focused product roadmap through close collaboration with senior leadership, Operations, Data Science, Analytics, Design, and Engineering.
- Translate customer and internal-user needs into clear, well-defined functional and technical requirements backed by data analysis.
- Guide and interface closely with data analysis and engineering teams to define scope, review and refine technical capabilities, prioritize projects for release, and define new opportunities.
- Build long-term instrumentation, monitoring, and evaluation capabilities for product performance.
- Establish business cases and projected return on investment to identify and prioritize opportunities.
- Partner with Finance and Business Leaders to manage the impact on the profitability of the overall business.
- Establish success metrics and executive reviews covering fraud trends and P&L impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning complex, cross-functional products from strategy through execution in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Experience defining strategic vision and roadmap execution in a given product area.
- Demonstrated experience shipping AI-enabled or automation-heavy products.
- Experience in technology, fraud, privacy, security, data governance, trust & safety, risk or an enthusiasm to learn.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous policy, legal, or regulatory requirements into practical, scalable product solutions.
- Fluency in modern AI product development, including evaluating model quality, designing human-in-the-loop experiences.
- Extreme customer centricity with a focus on ensuring low-friction experiences for good customers.
- An analytical, structured approach to ambiguity and risk.
- Experience partnering effectively with Legal, Compliance, Public Policy, Security, Privacy, Operations, Data Science, Design, and Engineering.
- An interest in applying AI and data-driven systems to improve fraud detection, triage, escalation, and prevention.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Direct experience applying AI/ML to prevent, detect and mitigate harm, plus AI fluency.
