About the company
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build and evolve high-impact healthcare applications across the full technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Drive high-impact software projects across the full stack, taking ownership from technical design and implementation through delivery, iteration, and continued improvement.
- Develop new user-facing features and enhance existing applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Build and maintain React applications, including components, hooks, state management, performance optimization, and reusable patterns.
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python and asynchronous frameworks such as FastAPI or Starlette.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to establish consistent APIs and effective patterns for frontend-to-backend interactions.
- Lead and guide cross-team architectural decisions, helping define scalable application and system designs.
- Produce detailed technical specifications, architectural documentation, and implementation plans for new features.
- Design and work with both relational and NoSQL databases, selecting appropriate technologies and data models based on application access patterns.
- Develop reliable asynchronous workflows involving background jobs, retries, idempotency, and eventual consistency.
- Build comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies, including automated and visual regression testing where appropriate.
- Contribute to continuous delivery practices and CI pipelines that enable teams to release frequently and confidently.
- Collaborate with product owners, AI/ML researchers, physicians, UX researchers, and other stakeholders to define, estimate, prioritize, and deliver features using Agile practices.
- Share technical expertise with colleagues and help strengthen engineering practices across areas such as API design, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, healthcare data, and application development.
