Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the Americas region's network strategy, design, operation, and improvement of corporate and cloud networks for all Sutherland Business Units
- Manage a team of network engineers in the Americas region
- Accountable for the design, management, upgrade, implementation strategy and stability of wireless/wired networks, firewalls, switches, and cloud environment
- Maintain network security including definition, reporting, and documentation of network architecture and compliance with peer standards in other regions
- Partner with Global Network Teams, Server teams and other IT organizations
- Work with vendors and Business team members to design and deliver network services
- Proactive scanning, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, managing hardware/software upgrades
- Provide Level 3 network support for all Americas Region
- Develop and oversee network technology roadmap for all Americas regions
- Collaborate with business units on strategic technical solutions
- Work with VP of Global Network Services on Budgeting, Forecast planning
Requirements
- Experience in network security, LAN, WAN, and Wireless architecture design and implementation
- Experience managing and providing technical direction for a team of network engineers
- Experience ensuring network meets availability, reliability, security, and performance requirements
- Experience developing network related policies, procedures and processes
- Experience standardizing network configuration across regions
- Experience with network documentation
