Senior Services Engineer

• Remote position aligned with U.S. Eastern Time, with limited annual travel and mandatory 24/7 on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for production and non-production integration platforms
• Lead technical escalations and critical incident restoration, conduct post-incident reviews
• Design, configure, deploy, test, and support B2B and managed file transfer integrations
• Manage partner onboarding, connectivity validation, certificate exchanges, routing configuration, and file reprocessing
• Administer enterprise integration, MFT, gateway, monitoring, and event management platforms
• Manage certificates, keys, trust stores, secrets, and tokens
• Plan and execute disaster recovery, high availability, failover, and recovery validation
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain operational documentation and evidence for audits and compliance
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to service management best practices

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in enterprise B2B integration, managed file transfer, middleware operations, or application production support
• Strong hands-on experience with mission-critical production applications at L2 and L3 support
• Experience administering enterprise file transfer, B2B integration, and secure gateway platforms
• Familiarity with Axway products such as B2Bi, TransferCFT, Sentinel, Secure Relay, and Event Router preferred
• Knowledge of integration protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, MQ, PeSIT, and SSH
• Experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL; Kafka is an advantage
• Understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, proxies
• Knowledge of PKI, certificate lifecycle management, encryption, and secrets management
• Awareness of Azure, AWS, and GCP including object storage and hybrid connectivity
