Responsibilities
- Proactive monitoring of our proprietary trading platforms
- Identifying key challenges and gaps and providing solutions
- Registration and resolution of service requests, incidents and problems arising from monitoring or from complaints/issues raised by our partner companies
- Assistance to DevOps, Developer and QA engineer teams
- Communicating with client and partner company representatives, provide aid as needed
- Knowledge exchange with fellow colleagues
Requirements
- UNIX/Linux training (Ubuntu, RHEL will be a plus)
- Experience in Unix/Linux command line and Linux systems
- Basic knowledge of shell script languages awk, perl, etc.
- Strong analysis, investigation and troubleshooting skills
- Good command of written and spoken English language
- Nice-to-have: Job experience in Linux environment
- Nice-to-have: Understanding of ITIL/DevOps processes and routines
- Nice-to-have: Experience with SQL-like command language
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Java programming language
- Nice-to-have: Experience with trading/exchange/risk management software usage
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge on brokerages, financial systems and banking
- Nice-to-have: Experience in monitoring systems like elastic stack, zabbix
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence, FishEye, etc.)
- Nice-to-have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
