Responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for the experimentation platform, balancing immediate business priorities with a scalable long-term vision that supports emerging and agentic product experiences.
- Partner closely with Machine Learning, Analytics, Engineering, Product, and other technical teams to develop shared experimentation capabilities, including randomized experiments, model deployment, feature flags, measurement, and emerging experimentation approaches.
- Establish common abstractions, standards, and guardrails that reduce fragmentation, improve experimentation quality, and make it easier for product and engineering teams to test ideas and learn with confidence.
- Build and guide a center of excellence for experimentation by defining best practices, strengthening methodological rigor, and enabling teams throughout the organization to adopt effective experimentation practices.
- Work with stakeholder groups across Growth, Servicing, Capital, and other business areas to understand needs, identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and drive adoption of shared platform capabilities.
- Shape the organization’s experimentation technology strategy by evaluating external vendors, internal development opportunities, and the right balance between third-party solutions and internally built capabilities.
- Influence technical and product decisions across multiple teams, connecting experimentation infrastructure and capabilities to broader product priorities and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, combined with 7+ years of product management experience.
- Proven experience owning strategy and roadmaps for technically complex software, platform, infrastructure, data, or developer-facing products.
- Strong experience partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Analytics teams on technical architecture, product tradeoffs, prioritization, and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to apply quantitative methods such as statistics, experimentation, analytics, or data science to product development and decision-making.
- Experience developing platforms that support Machine Learning or AI workflows, particularly around deployment, measurement, or experimentation.
- Preferred experience building or leading an experimentation platform product within a consumer technology environment or an experimentation technology provider.
- Strong knowledge of experimentation methodologies, including randomized experiments, feature flags, model experimentation, metric design, and statistical evaluation.
- Ability to translate shared technical capabilities into platform strategies that support broader organizational and product priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and quantitative concepts to engineers, data scientists, product teams, and senior leaders.
- Proven ability to build alignment across multiple product and technical teams, establish shared practices, and influence stakeholders within a distributed organization.
Conditions
- Remote position available across the United States, with the team operating across East Coast and West Coast time zones.
- Anticipated U.S. base salary range of $187,900–$260,000, with actual compensation determined by geographic location, skills, experience, education, and training.
