Responsibilities

• Direct clinical care (~50% of the role).
• Serve as primary clinical backup for coverage and scheduling gaps.
• Lead and develop physician and nurse practitioner teams across Medical Services and Psychiatry.
• Develop and maintain coverage models and resource planning.
• Oversee supervision requirements and state-specific documentation.
• Act as primary clinical escalation resource for Sales, Customer Experience, clients, and internal teams.
• Support pre-sale and stakeholder discussions with clinical expertise.
• Implement service-line improvements and provider incentive programs.
• Translate clinical and operational needs into recommendations for Product, Operations, and leadership.
• Track clinical and regulatory developments.
• Analyze wait times, access, licensure, quality, utilization, and cost data.

Requirements

• Board-certified MD or DO with 10+ years of clinical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership managing multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Active, unrestricted physician licenses in all 50 states and DC (or credible plan).
• 3+ years of telehealth/virtual-care experience.
• Experience leading distributed clinical service lines across multiple states.
• Experience developing provider coverage and scheduling models.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with virtual-care delivery, state practice requirements, and healthcare regulations.
• Experience developing clinical policies and processes.
