This is a high-impact opportunity to build and own the product marketing function within a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Own product launch communications: Partner with Customer Success, Product, Sales, and Marketing to develop and manage a scalable framework for communicating new releases, from early awareness through post-launch adoption.
- Drive customer education: Work with Customer Success teams to clearly communicate what is changing, why it matters, and how customers can get value from new capabilities.
- Lead sales enablement: Create talk tracks, one-pagers, battle cards, competitive positioning, and other resources that help sales and SDR teams confidently communicate product value, particularly as the business expands into mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Translate product capabilities into business value: Turn complex product specifications into clear, compelling narratives tailored to finance, sales, and other key buyer personas.
- Measure product adoption and revenue impact: Establish goals and track feature adoption, customer engagement, upsell opportunities, and revenue impact associated with product releases.
- Partner on expansion initiatives: Collaborate with Customer Success and Revenue Operations to identify opportunities created by new functionality and develop campaigns and materials to activate those opportunities.
- Build a product advocacy program: Develop a structured and repeatable customer advocacy initiative that engages power users and customer advisors.
- Develop the voice of the customer: Capture customer feedback, validate positioning and messaging, and generate case study opportunities that can inform product strategy and market positioning.
- Create scalable processes: Establish repeatable product marketing frameworks and workflows that improve coordination across teams and support continued growth.
Requirements
- Experience: 4–7 years of product marketing experience, ideally within B2B SaaS and with exposure to CPG, retail, or trade promotion management.
- Startup background: Demonstrated experience working in a startup or lean environment where you have worn multiple hats and built processes from the ground up.
- Go-to-market expertise: Proven ability to own product launches end-to-end, including cross-functional coordination, execution, communication, and post-launch follow-through.
- Messaging skills: Strong ability to translate complex product functionality into clear, compelling, outcome-oriented messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Commercial mindset: Experience connecting product marketing initiatives to customer adoption, engagement, revenue growth, and upsell opportunities.
- Analytical approach: Comfortable setting goals, tracking performance metrics, interpreting results, and using insights to continuously improve programs.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and influence across Product, Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Marketing without relying on formal authority.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating shifting priorities, ambiguity, and a high-growth environment where autonomy and initiative are expected.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive content and align diverse stakeholders around a common message.
Conditions
- Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, education, certifications, and scope of responsibilities.
