Responsibilities
- Collaborating with team members and clients to understand requirements and propose solutions
- Building responsive, accessible web applications with React and TypeScript
- Designing and implementing APIs and back-end services in Python (FastAPI, Django or Flask)
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality, maintainable code
- Deploying and operating workloads on Azure and/or GCP, including containerized services
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability for the services you own
- Using AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex) effectively
- Working with Git and a disciplined branching strategy
- Applying architecture and design pattern knowledge to keep solutions scalable and simple
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is essential
- Hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, plus solid HTML/CSS fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Python for back-end development, including REST API design
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure or GCP) is a strong plus
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS / GKE)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep) is a strong plus
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, BigQuery or similar)
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants in real projects
- Demonstrated ability to architect scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Greek and English
