Responsibilities
- Analyse commercial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, practical insights that help leaders make informed commercial and operational decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and improve reporting tools, dashboards, and performance measures across the business.
- Support leaders with performance reviews, forecasting activities, and ongoing commercial analysis.
- Work collaboratively with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and other business functions to understand business needs and deliver relevant analytical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes through automation, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Explore and apply tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, SQL, and other data and digital solutions where they can create measurable value.
- Investigate business challenges, interpret data, and recommend practical improvements.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and identifying smarter ways of working.
- Communicate analytical findings effectively to stakeholders and help translate insights into practical business outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities, with a naturally curious and commercially minded approach.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, SQL, and other modern data and automation tools.
- Genuine interest in AI, automation, digital innovation, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to transform data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to work with people across different business functions.
- Ability to understand commercial and operational challenges and connect them with relevant data and analysis.
- A proactive mindset and natural tendency to question existing processes and look for more efficient ways of working.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the broader commercial context.
- Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of analytical tasks and delivering outcomes independently.
