About the company
HelloFresh is looking for an action-oriented servant leader for the warehouse management system (WMS) Product Design and Software Engineering functions, owning the full software delivery lifecycle for the global warehouse fulfillment and inventory control domain.
Responsibilities
- WMS Solution Ownership: technical direction and performance accountability for Infios's Warehouse Advantage (Körber/Highjump) across global locations
- Integration Architecture & Reliability: own WMS integrations to host systems and CDC pipelines (Debezium/Kafka) to Snowflake/Databricks
- Platform Architecture: support optimal sizing and performance of WMS Architecture in AWS
- Agentic Engineering & Developer Productivity: drive adoption of AI-assisted code review, test generation, intelligent deployment pipelines
- CI/CD & Deployment Automation: maturity roadmap, automated workflows, rollback strategies, feature flagging, IaC
- Quality Engineering & Test Automation: build world-class QA, automated regression suites, contract testing, performance/load testing
- Engineering Metrics: establish DORA metrics as foundation of engineering health reporting
- Technical Roadmap & Architecture Governance: architectural decision-making, design reviews, legacy refactoring
- Vendor & Capacity Management: partner with 3rd-party vendors, ensure knowledge transfer
- People Leadership: coach, develop and retain engineers, product managers, team leads
- International Standardization / Release Consolidation
- Cross-functional Leadership
Requirements
- 10+ years of WMS software engineering and implementation experience with tier-one WMS in RF-based distribution, manufacturing, or e-commerce fulfillment
- 3+ years hands-on with Infios's Warehouse Advantage (Körber/Highjump) with SQL Server
- 3+ years managing application integrations via microservices
- Strong management and communication skills
- Practitioner's instinct for modern software delivery and AI-assisted tooling
Conditions
- Location-flexible position in North America corporate offices or fulfillment centers with hybrid model
- Must be flexible with work hour scheduling as teams are dispersed globally
