As an Expert Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of our on-premises Kubernetes platform and core infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premises Kubernetes clusters, including deployments, upgrades, scaling, and lifecycle management.
- Administer core infrastructure comprising servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and networking components.
- Ensure platform availability, resilience, disaster recovery, and capacity planning across production environments.
- Monitor infrastructure health using observability tools and proactively address performance issues.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability improvements.
- Drive infrastructure automation using IaC tools, scripting, and CI/CD integrations.
- Enforce security best practices, provide L2 operational support, and maintain operational documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience managing Linux-based production environments and enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong Kubernetes administration skills, including Docker, Helm, and kubectl.
- Experience with virtualization platforms, networking fundamentals, and storage technologies.
- Expertise with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or ELK.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, scripting, CI/CD tools, and Git workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting, ownership, communication skills, and an automation-first mindset, with exposure to cloud platforms being an added advantage.
