Responsibilities
- Own the technical sale — Partner closely with Sales to navigate complex deals, from first discovery call to signed contract, ensuring prospects see Checkr's full value
- Earn trust at every level — Meet with executives and operators alike, tailoring your message to each audience and building relationships that last beyond the sales cycle
- Bring solutions to life — Design and deliver world-class product demos, POCs/pilots, solution architectures, and proposals that speak directly to prospect needs
- Be the expert in the room — Educate prospects on safe hiring best practices, answer technical and compliance questions, and position Checkr as the clear industry leader
- Shape the product — Distill customer feedback into actionable insights for our R&D teams, helping drive a roadmap that reflects what the market actually needs
- Spot the big picture — Identify trends across verticals and help keep Checkr ahead of the curve
- Amplify our story — Partner with Marketing on case studies, use cases, and events that showcase what's possible with Checkr
Requirements
- 2–5 years in Solutions Engineering, Technical Sales, Customer Success, or a related SaaS role
- Hands-on experience with the full technical sales cycle — discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value execution
- Strong discovery and value-based selling skills, with the ability to craft a compelling demo narrative
- Comfort with RESTful APIs (or genuine eagerness to learn)
- A track record of working effectively across Sales, Product, and Marketing teams
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment without dropping the ball
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed
